Dragon Well--or Longjing--is one of the most famous and distinctive teas in China. Produced near Hangzhou in Zhejiang province, it is well-known for its long, flat leaves and for being the Qianlong emperior's great favourite.  The flavor is mellow and it has a deep chesnut aroma.

Our Longjing comes from Lion Peak region, where the emperor himself was enjoying his stay. Legend has it that the leaves he brought back to Beijing was so delicious that it cured the empress-dowager of her dyspepsia!
