1. Hang Zhou Jing Shan Tea | 杭州径山茶

Jing Shan Mountain has produced tribute teas for generations, an interesting impact Jing Shan Tea had on culture was when the monks from Wan Shou Temple created the Jing Shan tea ceremony where monks and guests can enjoy tea drinking together. This was ultimately adopted and brought back by Japanese Buddhist monks and Japanese Cha Dao 茶道 was created.

2. Lu An Gua Pian | 六安瓜片

This tea is one of China's top ten teas due to its freshness and floral aromas. Lu An Gua Pian is the only green tea is picked without tea buds and tea stems. Picking just leaves itself will reduce the vegetal greenness of the tea.

3. Taiping Houkui | 太平猴魁

This is a traditional handmade tea from Anhui province near Huang Shan. Tai Ping Hou Kui has one of the most painstaking process in making as the teas are individually sorted and pressed giving it a lovely flat shape. This is one tea that's difficult to create and with lovely orchid floral notes.

4. Gu Zhu Mountain, Mingyue Gorge Purple Bamboo Shoots Tea (Gyokuro Process)  | 顾渚山明月峡紫笋茶 (蒸青)

One of the oldest imperial tribute tea from Zhejiang province, this tea is famous for its tea buds shaped like bamboo shoots with purple tips. This tea is actually produced in two versions, the deep traditional steam method and the modern pan fry method.
